Today was a long day. Rainy and chilly.
90km cycled and did the North Cape tunnel.
The last bit was really too much, just kept going and very steep uphill. That turned into bike pushing.
See video of the announcement and going through the tunnel.
After that came an even longer tunnel which luckily wasn't so steep but was chilly.
I can appreciate the tunnels. Really another level. I do not appreciate the quickly passing cars.
Ate at the supermarket, it got too late to cook anything. Then it just kept raining, cold, everything wet. I was done with it. Got a cabin with heating. The last one available.
I'm sitting comfortably while it's raining outside.
Did you know that during the day about 7000 people visit the North Cape? An insanely large number of people. Almost all by bus or camper.
I'm investigating what's feasible. Going to the North Cape during the day or at night tomorrow.
