Yesterday had a pleasant evening with Bart and Carola. They are cycling in the opposite direction, having started in Finland and already visited the North Cape. Nice to have met them!
Today I cycled halfway toward Alta. Another stretch like that tomorrow.
The only supermarket was closed, so until Alta, I will only eat crispbread and dry bread.
There was a noteworthy climb today, you know, one of those climbs with the sun blazing intensely on you and a mixture of Deet, sweat, and sunscreen dripping into your eyes, and you get overtaken by a couple of young guys. Bart pointed out to me that a bike also has a first gear. It's quite handy that I know that now.
Now wild camping by a fjord with a stream of fresh water. Tomorrow I'll reach Alta. Also, the last place with facilities is available before entering prolonged wilderness.
And lastly: my new drone just flew 100 meters above the fjord. Suddenly started spinning and is now 100% sure on the seabed. At least it saves some weight on the bike...
