Can you imagine this?

230km is the first village.
370km the second.
550km the third.

So, those are villages. Not cities, there are none here.

Fortunately, the supermarket came earlier. Everything was gone, so I only had a pack of cookies from the gas station.

Last night, I slept exactly on the Arctic Circle.

I am cycling all the time on route 95. Very boring, a quiet wide road but with fast-moving traffic. You only see forest and cycle 40km along the same lake.

I want to cycle on gravel paths and small roads and do a lot of wild camping as soon as there are options.

In preparation, I bought a rope. So I can hoist the bag with food high in a tree.
There are many bears here.
They are allowed to sniff around everywhere but not at my tent. So I don't want to lure them with a bag full of food.
There are about 550 bears roaming in this region.

I have also stocked up on enough food. I may now be able to last a week without a supermarket. Even longer if necessary.

I spent a lot of time on bike repairs today. It's better now and everything is securely fastened again.

I am now at a campsite and there are indeed tourists and many Dutch people here. Here, they are all hikers. No cyclists.

I'm going to see exactly how I'll map out the route for the coming days.
And very bad weather is expected tomorrow. There is a brief moment of sunshine now. Today it was heavily overcast but dry.
