Old bike

My old Idworx bicycle get stripped and new parts will be added in the next month.

It is 16 years old but still in perfect condition.

I bought it 5 years ago, it was already old but I liked the reasonable price and the Rohloff speed hub.

For me it is the ultimate bicycle that is extremely reliable.

Upcoming changes: It gets bigger tires, tubeless. I am not familiar with this technology so I bring spare inner tube's with my trip.

The seat post will get suspension, which hopefully will add great comfort during the ride. The seat will be replaced by one of Infinity seats.

The handle bar will get some modifications to allow for diversed riding stances. 

One month left to test it thoroughly before the trip starts.

Do you wonder why I add such great confidence in riding such a old bike on a long trip? It is because of the Rohloff speed hub which lasts for 100.000km at minimum. I don't see any wear or tear for most of the remaining parts of this bike, so I am really confident about it.
